It just takes one to hang the jury. The FBI did such a poor job on the tapes by not postively tying the money to pay-offs. A reasonably good case could be (and was) made that the money was just a loan. Out of the numerous trials, the FBI is batting 100% up to now. They could afford to lose one, and they will lose this one. It will not be re-tried. Is he guilty? probably so--------Will he be convicted? NO This verdict is cut and dried—————no suspense here.
