Day 6 Waiting…
9:45 a.m.
Here we sit, waiting for the jury. Yesterday, they deliberated for almost two hours. Speculation is there will not be a verdict until at least 3 p.m.
11:16 a.m.
Just an observation… I just saw the jury walking down the hall and I noticed, unlike the earlier part of the trial, they are all dressed up nicely. My thoughts are this, either they’re dressed to return to work later today or they know the media will be trying to get interviews with them.

Do you suppose Mr. Ford could have bought them all a new suit of clothes? What could be taking so long?

This verdict is cut and dried—————no suspense here.
It just takes one to hang the jury. The FBI did such a poor job on the tapes by not postively tying the money to pay-offs. A reasonably good case could be (and was) made that the money was just a loan.
Out of the numerous trials, the FBI is batting 100% up to now. They could afford to lose one, and they will lose this one. It will not be re-tried. Is he guilty? probably so——–Will he be convicted? NO

Storm…
I don’t think the law says anything about cost-justifying the prosecution of criminal behavior. Its either criminal or not.
